John Galliano spotkał się w Paryżu z Anną Wintour
i jej córką, Bee Schaffer. Tematem rozmowy była podobno nowa praca
projektanta. W kilkanaście miesięcy po antysemickim skandalu z udziałem
byłego dyrektora artystycznego domu mody Dior, czeka go nowe wyzwanie.
Ma dokonać reaktywacji legendarnego domu mody Elsy Schiaparelli.
Plotka? Czy świat mody naprawdę dał Galliano drugą szansę?
Wintour maczała palce w tej decyzji?
Despite the fact that John Galliano was found guilty of making anti-Semitic slurs, many people within the fashion industry are saying the couturier will make a comeback. Recently, he has met with Anna Wintour.
The latest person to voice their support for the designer is actress Eva Green, who told Vogue UK, “He will make a comeback, I just know it.” This comes after a string of big-name industry players have come out to show their support. When asked whether
or not Galliano could come back to fashion, Dior’s current head
designer (and long-time Galliano collaborator) Bill Gaytten told the Financial Times, “We’ll see. It’s not over until it’s over. I can’t say any more than that right now.” As for Vogue Italy’s always-provocative Editor in Chief Franca Sozzani, she bluntly told The Daily Beast that Dior should, “Hire John Galliano back.”
